Armchair model 1401 designed by Wim Rietveld in collaboration with André Cordemeyer, is a classic mid century modern design produced by the Dutch company Gispen. This chair fitted perfectly into the “New Living” movement of the 50s. Model 1401 is considered a timeless design and is popular for both its aesthetics and its comfort. This armchair has been professionally reupholstered with Steelcut Trio from Kvadrat and has new HR foam in the seat and backrest.
