Spectacular counter balance ceiling lamp designed by J. Hoogervorst for Anvia Almelo (the Netherlands) in 1957. This great Mid Century Modern lamp has a white lacquered metal arm and black lacquered metal shade and a weight as counter balance. The lamp balances in any desired position by moving the weight. An truly ingenious system from one of the best lighting manufacturers from the Netherlands in the mid-century era. Anvia Almelo was similar in design and quality to, for example, Stilnovo.
This counter balance lamp suits in any kind of interior from Industrial Design, Mid Century Modern, Vintage Design to a more Eclectic Interior style. A feast in any room.
The lamp has been re-wired.
