Daybed Arielle was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954 for Auping. This sofa bed has beautiful hairpin legs. Auping says about this daybed: “The Arielle follows shortly after the introduction of the Cleopatra. The Arielle is again a sofa bed. A light and open model, made with a strong construction. It is made entirely of steel, making it very strong and durable.” This frame is professionally repainted matte black. The mattress is newly made from high quality hr foam and upholstered with a light gray woollen felt from Keymer. The neck roll has a strap around the mattress so that it does not roll off.
