Kite Table – Castelijn – Louk Straver

Article number 7470
Kite Table from the Dutch company Castelijn, designed in 1981 by Louk Straver. This beautiful Kite Table can be used as a desk, a conference table or a dining table. Whatever the purpose or location, this 80s table looks fantastic! The dimensions are somewhat complicated due to the asymmetrical post-modern design, but are as follows: the table is 73 cm high, the top is 3 cm thick and the bottom of the top is 70 cm high. Maximum width is 169 cm and maximum depth is 128 cm. The table can be disassembled into three parts for transport and is therefore easy to transport. A beautiful Dutch Postmodern Design table by the Dutch design pioneer Castelijn.

Here you will find the Kite table in the Castelijn archive, under the heading classics. If you are curious about more work by Louk Straver, visit his website.

We at VAEN love Castelijn’s postmodern design. Such as this beautiful set of chairs by Dick Spierenburg.
