Postmodern dining room table designed in the 80s. With playful legs on one side and a folding top on the other side. You can turn this table into a really large dining room table or conference table. Offers plenty of space for a large group. The top is made of black mixed laminate on a wooden top. The leg under the part where the folding top is located, is also made of wood. The two curved legs are made of black metal. This postmodern dining room table was probably designed and produced by the Dutch furniture manufacturer Castelijn, but it is not marked. Yet the quality and the funny design details, speak for Castelijn.
This postmodern dining table combines beautifully with 80s dining chairs from the Dutch brand Harvink, which you can find here on our website.
Dutch postmodern design.
In Dutch postmodern design you’ll find a playful combination of shapes, materials and colors. The use of innovative materials and technologies, combined with a nod to the past, are hallmarks of postmodern furniture. And they are functional and artistic at the same time.
An example of a beautiful Dutch postmodern design is the Groeten uit Holland chair by Rob Eckhardt. Here you’ll find more information on this chair on our website.
