This Rob Parry’s Gelderland sofa bed from the Lotus series has undergone an extensive, professional renovation. You can make a single bed of this sofa by simply pulling the seat out from under the backrest. It is simple as well to take out or suspend the backrest at a different height. The frame of this Lotus sofa bed has a matt black powder coating applied professionally. New HR foam has been installed in the backrest and seat, and new springs have also been installed beneath the seat. The upholstery is made of Hallingdal 65 series fabric from Kvadrat. In the 60s, the Lotus series was very modern design. And it is still Dutch Design icon.
