Architect Sir Norman Foster designed the A900 program in collaboration with Thonet. Chairs and tables, in which the principle ‘form follows function’ was applied. The A900 series was first used to furnish the Reichstag in Berlin. Elegant, post-modern armchair in aluminum and black leather.

Thonet is a renowned furniture manufacturer known for its iconic curved wood designs. Founded by Michael Thonet in the early 19th century, the company pioneered the technique of steam bending wood, which enabled them to create innovative and lightweight furniture pieces. One of their most famous creations is chair no. 14, also known as the ‘Viennese coffee house chair’. Chair no. 14 by Thonet became a Modern Design Icon. Thonet continues to influence the design world, combining timeless elegance with functionality and craftsmanship.
