The Trinidad Chair is one of the most distinctive designs from Postmodern Danish Design. This chair – also known as model 3298 – was designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1993. The facades of houses in Trinidad inspired her to this design, hence the name Trinidad chair.

The design of the Trinidad chair consists of a simple yet elegant frame made of metal tubes and the seat and back of the chair are cut from separate pieces of laminated wood, both in a fan shape. Backrest and seat are cut with the same pattern. The construction and elegance of this beautiful design by Nanna Ditzel give lightness and elegance that is unique to Danish Design.
