Two ‘large’ Tilos wall or ceiling lamps, designed by Ernesto Gismondi (Italy) for Artemide in the 90s. The design combines an attractive, organic shape with hard materials such as chrome and glass. These lamps are part of a series that Gismondi designed for Artemide. True Italian design.

These Tilos lamps are supplied without a cord, so that they can be attached directly to the wall socket or ceiling plate.

Artemide is an Italian lighting company founded by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza in 1960. The company specializes in the design and production of high-end lamps. Artemide’s designs are characterized by clean lines, minimalist shapes and attention to detail. Artemide has collaborated with some famous designers, including Michele De Lucchi, Ross Lovegrove and Naoto Fukasawa. Of course, Artemide lamps won prizes and awards, including the Compasso d’Oro, the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Product Design Award.

Condition Good condition – one lamp misses a small part of paint on the inside, the other lamp is repainted (very beautifully). The colour of the two lamps differs a bit, which you’ll notice when the lamps are closely mounted.
